Covid-19 Response

The Conard House Senior Management Team meets on a regular basis so that we can keep a close eye on the rapidly changing environment caused by COVID-19. Our number one priority is to keep the community safe. 

Conard House follows directions from the Office of San Francisco Mayor London Breed, the CDC, and government agencies that we work with so that we can safely provide services to the population we support. We continue to work with healthcare professionals who are able to give us the most up to date information so that we can stay healthy.

Some of the measures that we have set in place:

• Masks are available and should be worn at all times
• Hand sanitizer dispensers and disinfecting wipes are available in several locations
• Thermometers are available for temperature checks
• Installed sneeze guards where needed
• Staff, residents, and clients are informed about testing sites in San Francisco
• Community rooms are temporarily closed to observe social distancing
• Common areas are cleaned and disinfected several times per day
• There is a good supply of PPE on hand
• Implementation of Policy to allow only Essential Visitors onsite
• In-person meetings have been replaced by teleconferencing
• Made improvements in tech capabilities so that staff can work from home

We strive to monitor the situation closely so that we can address problem areas asap.
